St. Louis weather from Meteorologist Angela Hutti:ST. LOUIS - A few spots of fog around Friday morning. Not as widespread as Thursday.There will be two rounds of showers and thunderstorms on Friday. One is expected later in the morning and will be weakening as it tries to move southeast. Let’s watch for a quick shower or storm, especially north of I-70, late in the morning into the lunchtime frame. Friday afternoon will be hot and muggy, with temperature highs in the low 90s. St. Louis radar: See a map of current weather here A second, more impactful round of storms is expected later Friday night into the early hours of Saturday. A few of these storms could be severe, producing large hail, damaging winds, and the chance of a tornado. LOUIS - A leading trade organization is suing Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft over new rules targeting "woke investing."FOX 2's partners at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that the securities industry and financial markets association shared that the new rules conflict with federal security laws. Ashcroft issued the rules that went into effect July 30, after a similar proposal died in the Missouri legislature. ST. LOUIS - St. Louis firefighters were busy overnight battling two vacant house fires.The first happened at Natural Bridge Road and Pine Avenue around midnight in north St. Louis County. There was no report of any injuries. Dan Clemens’ mark in professional baseball came nearly four decades, and three shoulder surgeries, later than he hoped.But when it finally did happen — this summer, the 55-year-old became the oldest winning pitcher in Pecos League history — the Castle Rock resident became cleated proof that it’s never too late to realize your dreams.“There’s some validation relating to my age, and to my journey to get here,” Clemens said. “No, I can’t do the things I did when I was 18. But I still have that love for the game, and there’s satisfaction in that (older me) has learned how to do things different to be competitive.
