ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Albany man has been charged after police said he was found to be illegally possessing a loaded handgun. The man, Tamir Tunnell, 23, was arrested by Albany Police Department on May 16. Get the latest, news, weather, sports and community events delivered right to your inbox! At 6:30 p.m. on May 16, police patrol officers stopped Tunnell in the area of Quail Street and First Street in regard to an ongoing investigation. During the stop, officers found Tunnell to be in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun that was concealed in his waistband. Tunnell was taken into custody after the firearm was recovered by police. He was charged with one count of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. SMYRNA, Tenn. – Months after a life-changing tragedy in St. Louis, teenage girl Janae Edmondson reached a major personal milestone over the weekend. Janae graduated from Smyrna High School over the weekend. Family members shared a photo of her with a diploma on for GoFundMe page Wednesday. Two people suffered minor injuries when fire raced through a condominium in Woodland Hills Thursday morning.The fire at 21801 W. Traffic Accident near Alpine Road Involving Truck Hauling Live Cattle Resulted in FatalitySAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA (May 18, 2023) – Late Tuesday morning, one person was killed in a semi-truck crash on Highway 88 near Stockton.The fatal incident happened around 11:45 a.m. along Highway 88 near Alpine Road.According to CHP, a westbound semi-truck hauling 68 live cattle and a northbound gray Toyota SUV both approached the intersection.Investigators said the big rig approached a yellow light while the traffic light just turned green for the Toyota. Reports claimed that both vehicles continued at the intersection when the truck and trailer overturned and pinned the SUV underneath.At around 1:40 p.m., the responding emergency personnel managed to extricate the female SUV driver’s body from the vehicle.Unfortunately, the SUV driver sustained significant injuries and died at the scene.
