Fire damages Oakland’s Lake Merritt Rotary Nature Center OAKLAND — The Lake Merritt Rotary Nature Center suffered some damage from a fire Tuesday night, officials said.The fire started about 7:25 p.m. Tuesday at the center at 600 Bellevue Avenue near Lake Merritt.
