Bus driver arrested on DUI charge while driving MLB team to Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (AP) — A bus driver was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence while transporting the Pittsburgh Pirates from Chicago to Milwaukee for their weekend series with the Brewers.Illinois State Police said the driver was traveling away from officers seeking to escort the bus on its trip to Milwaukee late Thursday night. The owner of a White Bear Lake tattoo parlor charged this week in connection with a cross-country scheme to buy and sell stolen body parts was open about his collection in online posts before his indictment.Matthew R. One man was killed and two others wounded in a triple shooting in Denver’s Park Hill neighborhood Saturday night, according to Denver police.The shooting happened sometime before 9:50 p.m. at the intersection of E. 35th Avenue and Forest Street and at the intersection of E. Thrill Place and Hudson Street, according to police.Most of the victims were found outside, Denver police spokesman Sean Towle said Sunday. He declined to give any detail about how the shooting unfolded, citing the ongoing investigation. The two intersections are just under a half-mile apart.All three men received treatment at hospitals after being shot, police said. None of the victims have been publicly identified.
