LONDON — Elon Musk sat down with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in London’s Lancaster House on Thursday night for a chat that veered more towards a “love-in” than an interview. In the lavish gold-trimmed room where Theresa May gave one of her key Brexit speeches, the tech tycoon and PM were joined by an audience that included Cabinet ministers, tech execs and the American rapper will.i.am.Here’s what we learned as the conversation unfolded…Elon thinks you won’t need to workThe world’s richest man predicted a “future of abundance” from advances in AI models. “There will come a point where no job is needed,” he said. “You can have a job if you want to have a job… but the AI will be able to do everything. Cold again tonight, more seasonable tomorrow

Published Wed, 05 Mar 2025 18:01:41 GMT

It was all about the freeze and frost this morning! I saw a lot of people walking around Boston today with their puffer coats, hats and mittens. It might take awhile for us to get adjusted to the cold, since we haven’t felt temperatures like our morning lows since April. Tonight, it’ll be cold, before temperatures turn more seasonable tomorrow afternoon. Our highs today were stuck in the 40s. That’s below average for this time of year. We’ll have some mid and high level clouds move in overnight. That along with a switch in the wind out of the southwest should keep temperatures in the 30s. Not quite as cold as last night, but you might still have the heater on!High pressure that was off to our southwest today, moves east by tomorrow and this will keep the southwest wind into the afternoon. It’ll be breezy with gusts 20-25 mph possible. This weekend we stay dry. Any showers will be light and across far Northern New England. We’ll have sun and clouds...

Howie Carr: ‘Anyway’ Biden’s new dodge

Published Wed, 05 Mar 2025 18:01:41 GMT

Dementia Joe Biden has a new favorite word.“Anyway.”He uses it whenever all else fails, which in his administration is just about everything.Mostly Biden falls back on “anyway” whenever he loses his train of thought, or forgets what he was about to say, or realizes that he’s telling another big fat lie.Earlier this week, Biden was talking about, well, your guess is as good as mine. But here’s how it went. As always, all dialogue is guaranteed verbatim:“And you know, when you’ve bounced a few checks, like I did, you know when I was trying to get started it uh, anyway….”It’s sad enough when he tries to read from the teleprompter. (We’ll get to that later.) But when Dementia Joe tries to adlib, watch out. Like last week at some awards ceremony for scientists.“What was it like growing up and someone said, ‘Time for dinner!’ and you said what. Anyway.”Usually when Brandon veers off-script, he just runs out of steam. He stares blankly ahead, sometimes his jaw drops. And that’s when he say...
