JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) — Multiple law enforcement agencies are looking for the suspects who may be responsible for a string of crimes from Wednesday night that resulted in the death of a 20-year-old after she was struck and killed by a large rock while driving. The crimes occurred on Wednesday night starting at 10 p.m.According to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, 20-year-old Alexa Bartell of Arvada was driving northbound near the 10600 block of Indiana Street. JCSO believes the suspects threw a large rock either from a vehicle or the side of the road at Bartell's car. FIRESTONE, Colo. (KDVR) — Investigators say a 6-year-old girl is missing and could be with her noncustodial grandmother.Jazelle Martinez is described as white with brown hair and brown eyes, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. She stands about 3 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 50 pounds. She was last seen around 5:50 p.m. on April 14 in Northglenn, in the 300 block of Malley Street. She was wearing a white T-shirt with a rainbow and blue jeans and has a purple birthmark on her lower left back.She may be with her noncustodial grandmother, Eleanor Trevino, the CBI said.Trevino, 61, is described as Hispanic with brown hair and brown eyes. Animals seen roaming around Warwick, Rhode Island that many people thought were coyotes are actually dogs or potentially a wolf hybrid, Mayor Frank Picozzi said on Thursday. The city’s police department said it received a number of calls about the dark colored dogs. In an update, Picozzi said the animals seen in Warwick’s Oakland Beach neighborhood “are in fact dogs-perhaps a wolf hybrid.”Picozzi said the owner has been located, adding that the animals will be tested and that police are investigating the situation.
