Medical examiner: Hai Nguyen death ruled a suicide

The Hudson, Wis., Police Department and St. Croix County Medical Examiner’s Office have completed their investigation into the cause of death of Hai Nguyen, whose body was pulled from the St. Croix River last week.Nguyen, 31, of River Falls, died as the result of freshwater drowning — suicide, said Det. Kyle Knepler of the Hudson Police Department.Nguyen, who had been missing since March 3, was found on April 19. AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Two men in Amsterdam were arrested on Wednesday, April 19, after being pulled over and were found to have a "large number" of counterfeit checks with printing supplies and other identifying information, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Albany man was arrested following a car chase where he allegedly drove over 120 miles per hour (MPH) to flee police. Brookert Willingham, 57, faces several charges. On April 17, around 4:13 a.m., troopers tried to pull over a car on I-87 in Malta for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Police say the driver didn't comply, and a pursuit was initiated. WATERVLIET, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Three people were hospitalized after a structure fire Sunday night which required multiple crews to fight. Firefighters say they received multiple calls regarding the fire, and police were alerted as well with three people potentially trapped. A second alarm was called to Troy along with mutual aid.
